Ah, dear, just saw your ad in Buy & Sell. So nice you're getting a new rig to ride, but I'll bet you'll miss your baby Julie.
Good luck on the sell, and post pics of the new ride when you get it!

I love mine, it's my first dual suspension (had a little Kona hardtail for years before this one) and it rides and fits me perfectly. It's a heavy weight compared to yours - 30 lbs - but it's gotten me out of jams in my "spazz" moments on the trail!
I'm not a hard shredder, and can't justify a freeride bike (too old to heal and can't afford time off work!) so I'll be trying to just keep it simple: improve my skills yet stick with the intermediate stuff. I think I'll keep her and work out some upgrades; probably Talas 32's up front and some tougher wheels, my guy Andrew thinks that will serve me well.
Sounds like you love yours as much as I love mine, but it also sounds like the trails you'll be hitting will be throwing a lot at and asking much of the little Julie. Maybe you can keep her and just add a freeride rig to the stable??? Best of both worlds.
Juliana riders, unite. Glad to add you as a friend here!

Hi Shellance, your guy Badgermeister told me to have a look at your Juliana...so pretty in pink, nice ride! I ride one myself, updated it a little (better pedals, new low profile derailleur, and a tough all mountain stem) to beef it up a little. I'm small like you - 5'4", but straight all the way down, no curves! - and this little bike fits me well. How do you like yours, and have you made up your mind about getting a burlier bike?
